April 14, 2025Echoes of Resurrection in a Forgotten World”
Photography by Amanda Holloway
On view April 20 – June 10
We are honored to present Reveal: Echoes of Resurrection in a Forgotten World, a moving photographic exhibition by Jacksonville-based artist and educator Amanda Holloway, now on view in Taliaferro Hall.
Captured in the ghost town of Garnet, Montana, these images explore themes of presence and absence, light and shadow, ruin and revelation. Holloway’s photographs remind us that even in forgotten places, the echoes of life and light remain. The work invites quiet contemplation and offers a visual meditation on the presence of the divine in unexpected places.
Amanda Holloway is a celebrated art educator and photographer whose career spans decades and continents. Her dedication to the arts and her students has earned her numerous honors, including the 2024 Art Educator of the Year from the Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville.

Join us in Taliaferro Hall for a special reception honoring Amanda Holloway on Sunday, May 11, following the Mother’s Day concert. The concert starts at 5 p.m., with the reception following at 6:15 p.m. All are welcome.
