The Very Rev. Kate Moorehead Carroll is the 10th Dean of St. John’s Cathedral. Kate is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Vassar College, a Carpenter Scholar at Yale Divinity School and has a Masters in Divinity cum laude from Virginia Theological Seminary.

Kate is the author of eight books, the most recent are Vital Signs of Faith: Finding Health in Your Spiritual Life, Angels of the Bible and Healed: How Mary Magdalene Was Made Well.

St. John's Cathedral offices and the Cathedral Bookstore and Gift Shop will be closed Wednesday, 1/22/25, to ensure everyone's safety. All in-person programming at the Cathedral will be canceled as well, and this includes:
